8 Years Since Arthur Changed Everything

Today marks 8 years of Arthur's Acres.

His rescue changed everything. Arthur wasn't just our first rescue, he became the reason Arthur's Acres exists. Every resident who has come through our gates since then can trace their story back to his.

We had planned to launch this fundraiser first thing this morning but after a day of weather-related WiFi outages here at the sanctuary, we're finally able to share it with you.

Today we're officially launching Arthur's Acres Ate, our 8th Anniversary Feed Drive, with one ambitious goal:

To help fund one full year of meals for every rescued resident at Arthur's Acres.

Help Keep Every Bowl Full

Every morning and every evening, 53 pigs come running when they hear the feed buckets.

Those meals are so much more than grain. They include fresh produce, groceries, supplements and individualized diets for residents with special medical needs. It's one of the biggest commitments we make every single day and one of the most important.

Over the next eight days, we'll be sharing behind-the-scenes moments from meal prep, feed time and the incredible residents whose lives you're helping nourish.

As one of our Village members, you're the first to hear about the campaign.

We've also created some fun ways to participate this year, including sponsoring bowls and feed buckets that will become part of daily mealtime here at the sanctuary, along with a few other special thank-you gifts that celebrate eight years of Arthur's Acres.

We truly couldn't have made it to eight years without this community.
