We’re so excited to share something special with you first.
This summer, we’re hosting Arthur’s Acres Art Safari, a one-of-a-kind sketching and drawing workshop at Arthur’s Acres led by professional wildlife artist Alison Nicholls.

Inspired by the African Art Safaris she leads, Alison will guide you through the process of sketching animals from life... this time, with the beloved residents of Arthur’s Acres as your models.
Alison has been teaching sketching techniques on African Art Safaris since 2011 and brings years of experience observing, sketching, and painting animals in the field. Her work is deeply rooted in wildlife, conservation, and close observation, making this a truly special opportunity to learn from an artist who understands the beauty and individuality of animals.
Alison has generously offered to lead this workshop free of charge, allowing proceeds from the event to directly support the animals of Arthur’s Acres. As part of our Village, you’re receiving exclusive first access to reserve your spot before registration opens to the public.
Space is extremely limited, with only 20 spots available, so we wanted to give our closest supporters the first opportunity to reserve a place.
Event Details
Date: Saturday, June 27
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary

This full-day experience will include a guided sanctuary tour, sketching instruction with Alison, time spent observing and drawing the pigs, a delicious vegan lunch and a chance to visit the gift shop before heading home.
Basic sketching supplies will be provided, though guests are welcome to bring their own favorite materials if they have them.

Whether you are an experienced artist or simply someone who loves animals and wants to try something new, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, meaningful, and full of inspiration.
Every ticket directly supports the rescue, rehabilitation and lifelong care of the animals who call Arthur’s Acres home.
Thank you for being part of the Village and for helping make events like this possible. We can’t wait to share this beautiful day of art, animals, and connection with you.
Reserve your spot before registration opens to the public!

Great idea! Wish I could make it but tied up on the farm most of the summer! Daisy sends her love to Fay🙏🐷🤞❤️
This is a wonderful idea, sadly I am to far away to be there. I am sure all places will be snapped up super fast.
Ps, sending all my Love to Fay.
